The advantage of a family campsite, as you will find at Les Portes du Canigou (PRADES 66), is that the children feel good…and the parents too!
A well closed and secured area (a barrier at the entrance of the campsite prevents outside cars from entering the campsite), a ground neither too big nor too small which allows children to walk or bike safely, a small playground, a ping-pong area, a library and some games beyond…and the holidays become immediately much more beautiful.

For the little ones, a playground has been set up during the winter of 2020. You will find a small house, a hut with a slide and spring games. A playground for children from 3 to 10 years old. Just next door, the older children can play a game of ping-pong (rackets and balls available on deposit at the reception) or a petanque competition.

Finally, a small library corner has been set up for young and old to share a moment of reading together.

The family campsite Les Portes du Canigou is located in a preserved area at the gates of the town of Prades. An area where you will find, among other things, a large skate park accessible to all, a municipal swimming pool, tennis courts and a fishing pond. Very soon a health trail and additional sports fields will be added.

During the months of July and August, many small animations will be proposed to the children:

• Make-up workshop
• Initiation to climbing
• Treasure Hunt
• Petanque competition (parents-children)
• Table tennis competition
• Musical entertainment (concert, karaoke)

It is also possible to come to the reception to collect the drawing of the campsite to be coloured in and send it to your friends!
