Farniente, swimmingand recreation at the Vinça lake
Located in the commune of Vinça, only 10 km from Prades, the Lac des Escoumes is an ideal place for family bathing.
You can relax on the fine sandy beach, swim in complete safety with your children (supervised swimming) or have fun on the large inflatable structures of Aquagliss 66 .
In summer, the beaches are supervised and many water sports activities are available.
A water park (Aquagliss 66) is set up throughout the season and allows families to practice many water activities such as pedal boats, kayaks or paddles, not forgetting the large inflatable structures on the water.
The Lac des Escoumes in Vinça is therefore free to use throughout the summer season. Fishing enthusiasts will also be able to enjoy the lake.
Aquagliss 66 at the Vinça lake
Installed on the Lac des Escoumes in Vinça for a few years now, Aquagliss 66 is a water sports centre where young and old can meet up for a few hours of family fun.
On the programme catapult, trampoline, slides, trapeze,… a fun and sportive course! But also paddle, kayak or pedal boat.
As far as inflatable water games are concerned, Aquagliss 66 also offers a space dedicated to the very young, the Mini-gliss.

The lake of Vinça is largely populated with carp, roach, perch and pike. For the white fish fishermen, a few maggots and a bag of groundbait allow numerous and easy catches of the beautiful roach, provided you use a perfectly balanced and fine line according to the connoisseurs. The carp are so numerous in this lake that a simple solid line with a lead sinker and a few sweetcorns will allow beautiful catches, especially at the end of the day.
On the Escoumes lake, it is also possible to practice float-tube. This floating device allows fishermen to access most of the fishing spots discreetly. However, fishing is only allowed from the centre line of the lake towards the eastern bank of the lake.
The lake has picnic areas, a supervised beach and many activities.
