Specialtiesculinary discoveries

There is no shortage of culinary specialities in the Catalan Country. Sweet, savoury or even both, from village festivals to traditional restaurants, your stay at Les Portes du Canigou campsite could quickly turn into a gastronomic stay.

The Catalan specialities are not lacking in spices: Bougnettes, Pa d’ous, rousquille, gipsy arms, aniseed cake or salted ouillade, picoulats, aïolli … the flavours of the south should seduce you.

Wines full of freshness

A few kilometres from the campsite, the Vignerons en Terres Romanes will be delighted to welcome you and tell you about their wine. Wines full of freshness, from the traditional grape varieties of Catalonia. They will know how to share their passion with you, talk about their work and their wine with passion. So, to get in touch with them: Vignerons Terres Romanes.

The department of Pyrénées-Orientales abounds in vineyards, each one more beautiful than the next. From the steep vineyards of Collioure or Banuyls-sur-Mer to the great vineyards of the Aspres, the Pays Catalan knows how to showcase its assets. But if there is one area that we would like you to discover, one winegrower that we would like you to meet, it is the winegrowers of the Agly Valley. At the foot of the Cathar castles, on a rocky, wild and preserved territory, the winegrowers of Cellier Trémoine (RASIGUERES) work to produce wines of character, with a unique flavour: Cellier Trémoine.
