At the Les Portes du Canigou campsite in Prades (66), we have managed to keep the camping spirit intact. By separating the rental space from the pitches, we allow the traditional camping lovers to meet together for moments of sharing and conviviality.

As for the sanitary facilities, the two blocks are located in the middle of the pitches. For more privacy, men and women have their own part of the sanitary block. We take great care to keep our sanitary facilities clean. Cleaned twice a day, our sanitary facilities are a little dated, but still clean and functional.
The sanitary block also houses the campsite laundry.

A major expansion and renovation project is planned for the 2021 season. This will be the next project of the new owners.

Accommodation review
Good sized level pitches, with water. Electric available too, although we did not require this.
Debris falling from the trees at this time of year, but there is nothing the campsite can do about that. It is nature. It means regular cleaning of awnings & ground sheets. I did see staff clearing the debris from empty pitches. A never ending job at this time of year.
